The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) works to make the power grid smarter by developing and deploying innovative information technology solutions to meet New York’s dynamic energy needs. The NYISO’s Information Technology department invites applications for a full-time Senior Oracle IT Systems Analyst as a part of our Financial System Technologies team.
The Senior Oracle IT Systems Analyst will understand business and customer requirements to analyze, design, develop and support technical solutions and implementations in an Oracle Financials environment; participate in all phases of product development lifecycle, including the analysis, design, test and integration of products; develop design specifications and parameters that are in compliance with products’ architectural blueprints; support project management processes in all phases of project lifecycle to provide advice on feasibility, status, work breakdown and estimates.
Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related technical field. A minimum of 5 years experience as an Oracle E-Business functional analyst/developer with a demonstrated in depth proficiency in the Oracle core modules including but not limited to GL, AP, and AR. Strong business acumen with an in-depth understanding of financial business flows. Experience in EBS application administration, upgrades, and implementation as well as basic coding skills in SQL and PL/SQL are highly desirable. A collaborative, team player with strong communications skills to create high quality deliverables.
